LENT 2018: Luke's Gospel

LENT 2018  Luke's Gospel

Overview

Join us this Lent and Holy Week in reading through Luke's Gospel. You will be given a list of the daily readings ( see separate page - Daily Readings). The idea is that we travel through the forty days of the Lent season ending with the great celebration of Jesus's resurrection on Easter Day.

Reflection and Fellowship

It's important to think about what you have read and what it means for us today.

  • What do our readings tell us about God and his love?
  • What do they tell us about our lives and how we should live as followers of Jesus?
  • What bits of the readings do we find difficult or confusing to understand?

Why not come along to one or more of our weekly sessions where folk gather informally for "coffee and conversation" about what we have read that week?

Bring your thoughts, questions and ideas. All welcome.

Time: 7.30pm-8.30pm       Dates and Venues:  See website calendar
